In this petite paradise, there are many sport activities that you can do, from beach activities like snorkeling, diving, surfing, swimming, until land activities like bicycling, walking, horse riding and many more.


  • Gili Air is one of the best spots for snorkeling and diving. Just take a boat and in no time you can see beautiful views of fishes and coral reefs. The sights of amazing manta rays, sea turtles and even sharks are not so hard to find here. We also can arrange dive courses and dive trips. For those of you that interested and you can learn from our experienced dive instructor.
  • Bicycle rental (Rp.35,000 to Rp.100,000) is available here  if you want to explore the island, or you can also use the only public transportation that is available here called ‘Cidomo’, a horse drawn carriages.
  • There are many spas and massage services on the Gili Islands so you can have full relaxing treatment from professional therapists.
  • There are some spots off the shore that are perfect for surfing. You can surf there along with some friendly local surfers, board rental is available
  • Just take a boat to Gili Trawangan and you can go horse riding there.  Travel around the island by horse is a fun way to enjoy the view there. An experienced guide will make sure that your trip will go safely.
  • Fishing trips can be arranged here, from line fishing to trawling.
  • If you want to explore the other Gilis for a day, there is the Island Hopper that travels between the 3 Gili islands daily.

The mainland of Lombok has many travel option too. One of them is Senaru waterfall that is located in the base of Mount Rinjani. And if you want to go trecking, Mount Rinjani National Park is a perfect place to be. The view of 3,000 meter volcano surrounded by a beautiful mountain lake is completely amazing.

For golfers, the Kosaido Golf Club is located at Sire Bay on the northwest coast of Lombok, only 15 minutes from Gilli Air Island. The 18 hole championship golf course set in a coconut plantation overlooking the ocean on three sides.
